His Eminence André, Cardinal Vingt-Trois
Cardinal André Vingt-Trois was born in 1942 in Paris. He was ordained a priest in 1969 and began his ministry as parish vicar, and then as professor of sacramental and moral theology.
In 1981, he worked with Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger. Cardinal Vingt-Trois was ordained Bishop in 1988. He has published various works on the topics family life and priestly formation. He was appointed Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Paris in 2005 and created a Cardinal two years later
