Bishop-elect Denis Nulty parting words

Annual Retreat for Meath Clergy

Fr Denis Nulty from Meath Diocese was appointed Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin on 7th May 2013. His Episcopal Ordination will take place in Carlow Cathedral on 4th August.

On 12th June 2013, Fr Denis will celebrate the Silver Jubilee of his ordination to the priesthood.

During the Annual Retreat for Meath Clergy, Fr Denis spoke of the graces he has experienced since his “yes” to the nuncio which he describes as an extension of his “yes” on Ordination Day in Slane in 1988. He shared the words of his episcopal motto, the similarities in themes of diocesan work, names and support.

Fr Denis describes the diocese of Meath as a wonderful home for the past 25 years and asks that we continue to accompany him with our prayers as he lives his “yes” to God.
