Dr Susan Timoney and Fr Paul Fletcher SJ

Father Paul Fletcher, a congenitally Deaf Jesuit based at Loyola Hall, Rainhill, Liverpool, promotes Ignatian Spirituality and has been involved in adapting the New English Missal into sign language for Britain.

Paul attended St John’s Residential School for the Deaf, Boston Spa, before continuing mainstream education. Ordained in 1997 by Archbishop Patrick Kelly, Paul was the Superior of a London Jesuit formation Community from 2004 until 2010 as well as British Jesuit Provincial’s Assistant for Formation from 2006 to 2009.

Dr Susan Timeoney is the Assistant Secretary for Pastoral Ministry and Social Concerns for the Archdiocese of Washington, USA.
