An overview the Living Church process which identified the core elements which are now part of the Diocesan plan in Down & Connor.

In 2010 Bishop Treanor initiated the Living Church journey with the council of priests as together they began to explore the vision and way forward for the Diocese.
Forty seven facilitators heard from each of the parishes across our Diocese and produced a report which identified 5 core themes.

The Living Church office was established and charged with implementing the recommendations of the Living Church report and preparing a 5 year Diocesan Pastoral Plan.
The Diocesan Pastoral Plan was presented at the Diocesan Congress in 2013.
