David Quinn

David Quinn is a well-known journalist who specialises in religious and social affairs. He currently writes columns in The Irish Independent and The Irish Catholic.

He is the director of the Iona Institute. The Iona Institute publishes articles and research to contribute to public debates on matters of marriage, family and religion in society.

Talk – The Changing Irish Family: for better or worse?

The family in Western societies, including Ireland, has seen very big changes in recent decades including widespread divorce and growing numbers of children born outside marriage. Are these changes a sign of increased freedom, or increased family breakdown? In this talk Mr David Quinn will discuss some answers to this question.
