This presentation will explore the personal and collective dimensions of Catholic identity. The speaker will treat experiences that serve to build up one’s Catholic identity and those that undermine it. In particular, he will address the struggle to claim Catholic identity at a time when the credibility of the church has been damaged by scandals.
