Trócaire is calling on the Irish Government to ensure that the following are directly addressed in any binding agreement arising from the COP21 negotiations in Paris (30 November to 11 December 2015) are:

1. Human Rights Protections
2. Food Security
3. Climate Finance
4. Having a Long-Term Goal
5. Regular Review and Increasing Ambition

This briefing document outlines in detail why it is essential that these issues are included in the agreement.
