Modern day Bethlehem – supporting the ‘living stones’

Garry Walsh from Trócaire discusses the plight of modern day Bethlehem and an upcoming Trócaire resource for pilgrims to the Holy Land.

The resource will include 2 printed booklets – one for pilgrims and one for pilgrim organisers – along with a 17 minute video produced for Trócaire by iCatholic which features a number of interviews and reflections.  The key message is that pilgrims should be more than tourists and open themselves to connecting the local Christian community – the ‘living stones’ – and supporting the work of peace and justice for the Holy Land.

The resource will be available early in 2015.
